Common name : Compacta dwarf
A very compact variety of Hygrophila corymbosa with the leaves set close to the stalk. Grows well in natural immersed conditions, sometimes submerged. Medium to large aquariums are best suited since it grows to a height upto 40 cm. Supply of enough light ensures more attractiveness and color to this plant lack of which shows growing upwards towards light. Color tones can vary from bold brownish reds and pinks to shades of green. Propagation can be done through trimming and clearing of bottom leaves.
