Common name: Giant aqua rose
A highly decorative aquarium plant resembling similar appearance to Hygrophila difformis. It has fine pinnate leaf structure with a stem width upto 2-8 inches. Can be grown emersed but will be toxic for the fish or invertebrates however in its submerged form it is not at all toxic. Propagation is done by the abundance of side shoots and new ones grow quickly from the tops of topped stems.
