Eleocharis vivipara

The grass like plant can be used as a specimen or background plant and may reach up to 20 inch (50 cm) in length. New plantlets are created at the top of the leaf, giving the plant its “umbrella” appearance.

Good lightning and soft water will both prove beneficial when caring for this plant. In the best conditions it may spread quickly, so allow plenty of room for growth.
